Wondering if it's for you?

Faq's

Having doubts? — That’s normal.
Most of our members felt the same before booking their free week.
See what they asked, think it over, and send us your own questions if you’ve still got any.
I’ve never done any martial arts before — can I still join?

That’s actually the best way to start.
Most people here walked in with zero experience. Everything is taught from the ground up, so you’re never “behind” — you’re exactly where you’re supposed to be.

Do I need to be fit to start training?

No — BJJ is how you build fitness, not something you wait to be fit for.
You train at your own pace, take breaks when needed, and improve naturally as you go. Strength and conditioning come with time on the mats.

What should I wear to my first class?

Nothing special.
Just a T‑shirt and shorts with no zips or pockets. No gear to buy, no prep required — turn up, train, and see what it’s like before committing to anything.

Is it safe? I’m worried about getting hurt.

Brazilian Jiu‑Jitsu is one of the safest combat sports you can train.
No headshots, no strikes, and no pressure to spar. Everything is controlled, technical, and taught with safety first — especially for beginners.

Do I need to book or can I just show up?

You can start as soon as you’re ready.
Booking your free week helps us expect you, but you’re always welcome to drop in, watch a class, ask questions, or chat with the coaches before stepping on the mats.

Can women train here?

Absolutely — all classes are open and welcoming.
Women train regularly here, and the environment is respectful, structured, and supportive. You’ll never be singled out or treated differently.
